North Country History Day 2021 Contest

 

Welcome to the Registration and Information Page for North Country History Day, to be held virtually in 2021

North Country History Day is an education program that engages students from 6th-12th grade in the discovery and interpretation of historical topics. By participating in History Day, students can research topics related to the annual theme and express themselves creatively through various formats, such as exhibit boards, documentaries, websites, papers, and performances. 

The Annual Theme for 2021: Communication in History: The Key to Understanding

Competition Date: Projects will  be judged over a window, ending March 26, 2021

Submission Close Date:  Friday, March 20, 2021

Registration Fee:  No fee this year only

Location: Virtually

Reminder: Teachers must register before any of their students are able to complete their registration.

By participating in History Day, students can research topics related to the annual theme and express themselves creatively through various formats, such as exhibit boards, documentaries, websites, papers, and performances. 

The Annual Theme for 2020: Breaking Barriers in History 

Competition Date: Saturday, March 7, 2020

Submission Close Date:  Friday, February 14, 2020

Registration Fee:  $10 per student

Location: Mars Education Center, Fort Ticonderoga

Reminder: Teachers must register before any of their students are able to complete their registration.
